MPTA is convening a short‑term, peer‑to‑peer Millage Work Group to share experiences and identify practical needs for agencies with millages planned or under consideration for 2026-27.
Topics may include:
Millage timelines
Education vs. advocacy basics
Service scenarios if a millage does not pass
Messaging and stakeholder engagement
Getting boards and staff appropriately involved
We’ll also ask what participants most need help with next. Additional calls will be scheduled as needed.
This will be an informal, practical discussion grounded in peer experience. Agencies further along in the process are encouraged to join and share lessons learned.
