The Michigan Public Transit Association would like to encourage any interested members to consider making a nomination to the MPTA’s Board of Directors, a group of leaders that provides an invaluable service to Michigan transit.

Providing clear, accessible information is a core part of delivering effective transit services. From marketing materials to social media and rider communications, it’s important to consider the needs of people with low vision, hearing loss, mobility limitations, or cognitive disabilities. A recording of the Accessible Materials and Effective Communication training—originally hosted by Easter Seals in February 2026 and updated in May 2026—is now available.
