The Transit Systems Manager, under the administrative direction of the Transportation Director, directs the operation and maintenance of the Muskegon Area Transit System, a County wide public transportation system. This employee supervises personnel engaged in the operation of the Muskegon Area Transit System and is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing the delivery of the county’s public transportation services to the urban and rural areas of the community, as well as the ongoing development and improvement of the transit system. The Transit Systems Manager works with the Transportation Director to evaluate current transit operations and service proposals and performs related duties as required
